About Me.
Hi, I'm a sophomore majoring in CS at NCUE and the Lead of GDGoC NCUE! I'm passionate about community involvement and love the energy of working together towards a shared goal. Driven by the desire to make campus life easier with code, I took the initiative to develop and maintain systems for the Student Service Section, Student Safety Section, Career Development Center, and the Student Association. I also believe that "output is the best input." I enjoy organizing what I’ve learned into structured technical articles to help others get up to speed faster. Recently, I've been fascinated by Hardware Security and Cryptography and am currently diving deep into these fields XD.
Design of a High-Stability PUF-Based Post-Quantum Key Generation System Based on FPGA XADC Environmental Sensing Mechanism
Addressing the threat of quantum computing to current encryption standards, this research proposes an active hardware root-of-trust architecture integrating environmental sensing to provide high-entropy keys for Post-Quantum Cryptography (e.g., NIST FIPS 203 ML-KEM). Traditional Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) suffer from instability due to PVT variations, while standard passive Error Correcting Codes (ECC) consume excessive FPGA resources. To overcome these bottlenecks, this system utilizes the FPGA's built-in XADC for real-time environmental monitoring. By implementing a closed-loop feedback mechanism to dynamically adjust Tunable Delay Lines (TDL), the architecture actively compensates for environmental drifts at the physical layer. The design significantly reduces bit error rates and minimizes logic resource consumption by eliminating heavy ECC requirements, delivering a robust and efficient post-quantum key generation solution tailored for resource-constrained IoT edge devices.
